Purpose is just as important in business as it is in life. Putting Conscious Capitalism into practice at The Motley Fool has strengthened our business, and its principles continue to help Fools better understand ways to sustainably fulfill our mission.
Like other conscious capitalists, we aim to serve all major stakeholders – our customers, employees, investors, suppliers, and the environment. In 2013, Fool CEO Tom Gardner opened up on how The Fool engages in Conscious Capitalism with Professor R. Edward Freeman of the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Taking it from Fools that attended in the past, Conscious Capitalism’s annual conference proves a wonderful opportunity to learn about this movement. Their spring event in Chicago is slated for Tuesday, April 12 – Thursday, April 14. Among fellow CEO’s, executive teams, entrepreneurs, coaches, and consultants, attendees will learn how to deepen the practice of Conscious Capitalism through networking, practicums, powerful keynotes, and more.
