A world-class group of employees works for The Motley Fool. From participating in two Ragnar Race competitions (placing #1 in the corporate division after Richmond’s trail race last weekend!) to female Fools that rock at coding, several well-deserving Fools were highlighted externally this spring.
More than 600 nominations (including for Fool developer Swetha Reddy!) were submitted this year to DCFemTech, which recognizes D.C.’s top devs, designers, and data scientists annually. Amber Knutson, a Fool since 2014, was recognized as one of 54 winners, or “Power Women in Code, Design and Data,” who will be celebrated at an upcoming D.C. event. We didn’t hold back in our celebration of Swetha and Amber at FoolHQ, complete with confetti cannons!
Another big win came for The Motley Fool’s Wellness Coordinator, Samantha Whiteside. A force in the Fool community but also locally, Sam was recognized as a “2018 40 Under 40 Award” Honoree by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
Congrats to these Fools! Cheers to doing good work – inside & OUT of the office.
