“We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.” – Bill Gates
Company culture is a reflection of the relationships between people, and employee feedback couldn’t be more important to a thriving workplace. Since 2014, The Motley Fool has used Culture Amp to power employee engagement surveys. Launched bi-annually, these surveys help us to not only recognize pain points, but also great successes happening across the business.
Feedback can spark tough conversations, but the Fool’s culture wouldn’t have evolved without input from employees. In fact, each engagement survey earns approximately 1,400 comments from full-time Fools. Survey results are first shared with our leadership team, then more specific points are passed down to managers for next actions. Larger issues are handled by the Fool’s Engagement Task Force, which focuses on changes we’re willing — and actually able — to make within our workplace culture.
Culture Amp provides tools that help us better navigate employee engagement; employee experience; and employee effectiveness. A perfect time to learn about the importance of feedback is THIS WEDNESDAY, August 2 (9am PT / 12pm ET) during Culture Amp’s Webinar: Acting on Employee Feedback with The Motley Fool. Join our VP of People Insights Kara Chambers and People Team Lead Lee Burbage as they share strategies for collecting, understanding, and acting on employee feedback.
