Becca Benson: Software Development
Knowing she would spend the summer away from Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications, Becca decided to pursue a Software Development internship at The Motley Fool. Considering her future major in Emerging Media – plus minors in Game Development and Web Programming – Becca landed a pretty sweet gig!
Before starting at the Fool, Becca traveled to Israel with her youth group in what she now considers to be “the best six weeks of her life.” While there, Becca was able to explore new cities and immerse herself in exciting cultural experiences.
Her personal “Motley” value is “All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost.” This summer, Becca has been collaborating with WebTech Fools to create widgets and change certain site content. She’s also been honing her knowledge of new programming languages. Outside of being a Fool on one of the company’s most fast-paced teams, Becca enjoys listening to metal; watching anime; and playing video games.
