In The Four Tendencies, best-selling author and respected thought leader Gretchen Rubin reveals a new framework for entrepreneurs and side-hustlers to follow. Understanding its four zones, Rubin argues, “lets us make better decisions, meet deadlines, suffer less stress and burnout, and engage more effectively.”
Gretchen graciously made time to visit The Motley Fool during her recent book tour. She sat down with Alison Southwick, co-host of Motley Fool Answers, to pick apart the four tendencies in front of a live Fool audience. Gretchen’s four-tendency framework is based largely around how individuals respond to outer and inner expectations. No matter if a person identifies as Upholder, Questioner, Obliger, or Rebel, Rubin promises solutions for each zone’s challenges.
